Because of new company policies they are not only denying people coverage, but are dropping customers with existing policies if they are even remotely considered to be in a wildfire area. Started my policy about a month ago and just received a letter stating my policy was going to be cancelled."

"State Farm has been there when I've needed them. I've had insurance through SF since I was 16 years old in 1993. Recently, I had a positive interaction with a employee at the Steamboat office. Karim Rashid was quick with email replies and had answers to questions I had on my auto claim and our homeowners policy. You get what you pay for. 4 stars instead of 5 because state farm isn't the cheapest and corporate spends lots of $$ on advertising. The local office is great."

"Wouldnt really recommend Debbie to anyone. Had to call multiple times to ever get a call back and then when we finally did get ahold of her it was as if our problems were the least of her concerns. I guess if your not rich from Steamboat she could care a less about you."

Water claims are distressing, but State Farm took care of us and Debbie and her team were great to work with. We are real estate agents and over the years know many people that have needed to make claims for home or auto and State Farm took care of them - you get what you pay for with State Farm and we would not hesitate to recommend them!"
